Launch pricing
OtterTap is new. We don't have download or user numbers yet, and we won't make any up. These are launch prices, set low because the audience is still growing. We expect prices to rise as it does, and any booking is honoured at the price you were quoted. Once there are real numbers we will publish them on this page.
Who sees your banner
People who use OtterTap, a Windows tool that clicks and presses keys for them in games and other programs. Many are teenagers and some are younger, which is why the advertiser rules below are strict. The banner sits at the bottom of the window and shows each time the app opens. People who buy the $5 upgrade don't see it.
The banner
- Size: 1200 × 160 pixels (a 7.5 to 1 strip), PNG or JPEG, under 500 KB. It is shown at about 450 × 60 pixels, so keep the words big and short.
- No animation, no sound, no flashing. A still picture only.
- One link: to a page on your own website, starting with https.
- You can swap the picture once during a booking.
Advertiser rules
We only run advertising that is suitable for a young audience. We will not run, and will remove without notice:
- Gambling, betting, loot boxes, or anything that works like them
- Sellers of in-game currency, items or accounts, "free Robux" or "free currency" offers, and anything that asks for a game login
- Cheats, hacks, exploits, ban-evasion tools, or anything that breaks a game's rules
- Adult content, alcohol, tobacco, vaping, weapons, dating
- Crypto, NFTs, get-rich-quick schemes, loans and other financial products
- Scams, fake download buttons, misleading claims, or anything that looks like an OtterTap or Windows message
- Anything that collects personal information from children without a clear, lawful reason
- Anything illegal, or that we judge unsuitable for our audience, even if it isn't listed here
We approve every banner before it runs. If we turn a banner down, you can send another. If we can't run your booking, or none of your banners are approved, we refund you in full.
How booking works
- Email us with the slot you want, your start date, your banner and your link.
- We check the banner and reply within two working days.
- You pay the invoice or payment link we send, once, in advance.
- It runs for 30 days from your start date. Afterwards we send you the click count.
What we report
Clicks go through a link on this website that counts them, so we can tell you exactly how many people clicked. We can't count how many people saw the banner, because OtterTap deliberately sends nothing back about its users. Instead, we will tell you the number of OtterTap downloads during your booking.
